Residential Opportunities

The residential section of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award / King’s Scout Award involves spending 5 days & 4 nights taking part in shared, worthwhile activities with people you don’t know. This will include shared accommodation, at least 4 people coming together for the first time and evening activities, You can find out more on the DofE website and Residential FAQs.

• Please note that approval is required before you pay and commit to a residential event - please complete this form and email to the County DofE adviser. All opportunities below should count as approved, but the form is still needed.

Opportunities for DofE residential 2024

Ferny Crofts campsite service- £/free

Ferny Crofts offers three weeks with 5 spaces helping with campsite service & activities. This is free and can be booked by emailing [email protected].

• Monday 27th to Friday 31st May 2024
• Monday 29^th July – Friday 2^nd August
• Wednesday 16^th  - Sunday 20^th October.

Hampshire Scout Expeditions - ££

Hampshire Scout Expeditions offer mountain weekends - two of these weekends can count as a DofE residential.
